G.G. Japan Tour 2017、おかげさまで大盛況、皆さんに感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです！

水戸のガールトークさんでは去年のミニツアーに続き2度目の出演だったのですが、木曜日という平日にもかかわらず、たくさんの客様にお越しいただき、個人的には26年ぶりとなる中高時代のお友達にあえて、最高でした！演奏後はラジオの収録もあって名物のナポリタングラタン（？）を食べながらわいわいさせていただきました。

モーションブルーヨコハマも120人を超えるお客様にお越しいただき、幕間にはＧＧの映画（今年のSXSWでも上映された、ＧＧオースティンツアー2016の際ヤマグチユウタ監督によって製作された短編ドキュメント）上映、アフターパーティー、飛び入りしてくださったＴＯＫＵさん、もう盛り上がりすぎました！

最後の大阪では今回のスペシャルゲストリュウミホちゃんがこられなかったので、満員のチャペルの中ＧＧオリジナルピアノトリオのみのとてもスピリチュアルなコンサートとなりました。

どのコンサートもたくさんのお客様、スタッフの皆様、楽器を貸してくださったお友達、みなさんに感謝感謝です！ありがとうございました！また20年と待たずに日本ツアーができますように！

I hope everything would be settled OK. It is really not so happy new year 2017 so far, I am afraid of what is going on in US under new president right now. I hope we can stay together with compassion, love, and peace whatever happens on us internationally. 

すべてが平穏に収まってくれればと思うのですが、残念ながら現在新しい米国大統領の下、頻発されている心無い大統領令によって、とてもおめでたいとはいえない新年を迎えています。世界を巻き込んでの大騒動に発展する恐れもありますが、どうか思いやり、隣人愛、平和を願う心でこの危機を乗り越えられればと願うばかりです。

I came back from Japan!!

I had a couple of gigs with Takana Miyamoto(p) and Kenji Shimada(b), so we called it G.G. 2/3!!

And I reunited with my PTA band which was based on my son's elementaly school PTA board members back in 2006-2008 during my service as a vice PTA president. 

Then, I participated to 60th anniversary concert of Waseda Univ. High Society Orchestra! I reunited many friends in college big band in Tokyo, met older and younger alumnis, about 160 musicians shared stage, in 9 big bands! It was something.

Thank you so much for coming down to G.G.'s mini tour in Austin!

We had a big fun here in Austin, people in Austin is so nice, started from people of JASGA, all audiences, and musician friends who came down, sitting in, made friends with G.G.!

Thank you sooooo much.
